Despite its attractive appearance, it lacks the same level of prestige as its flashier counterparts. The electric model offers an estimated EPA range of 239 miles, and during our highway test, we managed to cover 210 miles on a full charge. Although it may not match the range of some competitors, it still offers commendable performance. Criticisms include the plasticky feel of the Niro’s cabin and limited availability, as it’s not sold in all 50 states.
Nevertheless, the Niro EV delivers enough positive attributes to warrant consideration among the top non-luxury EVs in this growing segment.
