The 2024 Accord debuts with a fresh design that arguably marks the most elegant iteration of Honda’s iconic family sedan. Embracing the trend towards hybrid powertrains, this new generation sees the hybrid system standard on all but the two base trims. The LX and EX models are propelled by the familiar 192-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine carried over from the previous model, exclusively paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
For the upper trims, a new 204-hp four-cylinder hybrid system, borrowed essentially intact from the CR-V, takes center stage. Complementing the Accord’s handsome exterior styling, the interior receives a makeover with design cues borrowed from the recently redesigned Civic, CR-V, and HR-V. Notably, the cabin features honeycomb-pattern dash trim concealing the air vents and a freestanding rectangular infotainment display emerging from the top of the instrument panel.
On the technology front, the 2024 Accord boasts a suite of updated features, including a new standard digital gauge display and an available 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
